Ian Barnett is a Norfolk based author, photo-journalist, wildlife photographer and small vermin hunter. Access to land to carry out pest control also gives access to Norfolk’s wonderful wildlife and Ian takes a sensitive, balanced approach to shooting and wildlife conservation. His books are more than merely manuals, they are a walk through the countryside with all its sights, sounds and scents. Ian has been hunting with hound and rifle for nearly 40 years but only started publishing his sorties, journals and opinions about 10 years ago. Since then, he has become a popular writer in the hunting / country-sports arena. Ian writes monthly for the airgun press and The Countryman’s Weekly about his hunting exploits, often accompanied by his trusty old lurcher, Dylan.
